We are looking for a Data Engineer/Data Scientist for data analytics and ML system design. Free lance mission to start with a three-month period, renewable, as part of a European project on the measurement of cooperation in citizen
science projects (where citizens participate in data collection for example).
Objective: to define metrics and indicators of cooperation between researchers, citizens and other relevant partners, available in the form of cooperation analytics. These analytics will be produced from behavioural traces on a European cooperation platform under development (allowing to set up projects, message exchange and store working resources).
Interest: This project is very innovative and explicitly part of a citizen approach (the code will be
open). It will allow the data scientist/engineer to both publish on the topic of cooperation analytics in
conjunction with the social scientists leading the project, and to participate in the development of an
open platform that promotes citizen science. The final developments will be carried out by another
team of the project in charge of the platform but the specifications will have to be taken in charge by
the data engineer.
Required: Expertise in Machine Learning and Information Design (Data Viz). Familiarity with the APIs of common platforms for the collection of traces (notably Google environment).
Desirable: Experience in analytics in social listening, in corporate social networks or in the design or
operation of workflows.
